Feature Version Description
5-point tracker pose recognition v1.0 High-precision pose recognition for forward, backward, left, and right directions
Hip direction tracking v1.2 Implemented hip direction as the forward direction
Keyboard and Xbox output v1.4 Game controller and keyboard input mapping through pose recognition

Feature Priority Description
Jump and crouch 🔴 High Jump and crouch pose recognition
Multi-hardware combination pose recognition 🔶 Medium Support for 0, 1, 2, 3 trackers and other combinations
Linux support 🔶 Medium Support for running Slime Locomotion on Linux

Detect user’s jump and crouch actions through trackers and convert them into corresponding inputs in games, enhancing VR gaming immersion.

Application scenarios:

  • Jump evasion in FPS games
  • Crouch stealth in action games
  • Natural interaction in VR experiences

Use pose recognition technology to map user’s body movements to game controller or keyboard inputs, enabling natural walking in non-VR environments.

Supported mappings:

  • Direction key mapping (forward, backward, left, right)
  • Function key mapping (jump, attack, etc.)
  • Combination key mapping

📊 Multi-Hardware Combination Pose Recognition

Section titled “📊 Multi-Hardware Combination Pose Recognition”

Provide different complexity pose recognition solutions based on the number of trackers users have:

Mode Precision Description
No tracker ⭐ Basic Basic pose recognition based on headset and controllers
1 tracker ⭐⭐ Enhanced Single-point tracking pose recognition
2 trackers ⭐⭐⭐ Standard Dual-foot tracking walking recognition
3 trackers ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Advanced More complex pose recognition compared to dual-foot tracking
5 trackers ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ultimate More precise pose recognition, including hip direction tracking. Completed in v1.2

Extend Slime Locomotion to more operating systems, allowing more users to experience natural walking.

Support plan:

  • Linux system
